This is a set of very stiff carbon fiber shoe inserts. That are meant to insert under a shoe padded insert. These are perfectly flat, and they will not conform to a non-flat surface. These also cannot be trimmed, so order correctly! Sizing is accurate. These are somewhat like a spring with how stiff they are, so they do give a small amount of lift. These are very strong material that should last a long time. If you want a bit of spring or a firmer shoe, these seem like an ok value.
